Rui Fu Xiang is a silk store started their business in 1853. This chain has still shops all over Beijing and a beautiful one in Dashilar.
5 Dashilar Street

In Dashilar you can find several shoemakers, who hand make fine and colourful silk and leather slippers and loafers.
Nei Lian Sheng Shoe Store | 34 Dashilar Street

It is maybe the smallest shop in Dashilar, but headed by a passionate collector of Chinese antiques. You can find small bowls and cups and pendants made of nice selected shards.
8 Yangmei Zhuxiejie

Dashilar is the oldest district for entertainment. The first Peking Opera was presented here. You can visit the traditional Peking Opera in a beautiful old temple complex.
220 Xiheyan Qianmen

A great find in Dashilar is Zhengyang Shuju, a small shop piled high with books and maps detailing the city’s fascinating history. The owner Cui Yong is of the 6th generation living and working in this building.
76 Langfang ertiao

Daguanlou on Dashilar is China’s oldest cinema, and well worth a visit. Though films were first shown in Shanghai in 1896, Daguanlou became the first cinema in 1902 when then entrepreneur and filmmaker Ren Qingtai bought the building, having purchased a French-made motion picture camera in Japan.

Tong Ren Tang is a drugstore founded in 1723. It is now a contemporary pharmacy and a producer and retailer for traditional Chinese medicine. It is a place where the secret medicinal recipes of the Qing court were stored.

Liu Bi Ju is a pickle shop, which was first opened in the Ming Dynasty. It offers all kinds of delicious pickles.
3 Liangshidian Street

Ma Ju Yuan hat shop has a history of more than 185 years and made hats for many officials from Qing Dynasty to our century.
